Alvin Kamara, a running back for the New Orleans Saints, won't be participating in the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to NFL Network's Stacey Dales.
Alvin Kamara is out; Mark Ingram's running yards and touchdown for the Minnesota Vikings game on Sunday in London are hypotheticals.
Alvin Kamara, a running back for the New Orleans Saints, won't be participating in the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to NFL Network's Stacey Dales.
Prior to the official inactives, head coach Dennis Allen informed Dales that Kamara will be absent from the Week 4 matchup in London against the Minnesota Vikings.
Officially, Kamara was one of New Orleans' seven inactives.
Coming into Sunday, Kamara (rib) was listed as doubtful; it was the third week in a row that he had that status.
Jameis Winston,Saints' starting quarterback, was previously listed as questionable on Saturday but is now officially out with a back injury. For New Orleans, Andy Dalton will start at quarterback.
Over the duration of Kamara's career, New Orleans is 3-6 when he is not present. Without him in the lineup, the Saints have dropped their last five games.
Kamara played all 16 games in his debut season in 2017, which was the season. Since then, Kamara has struggled with injuries
missing multiple games in three of the previous four seasons and at least one game per season since 2018.
In the absence of Winston, Kamara, and wide receiver Michael Thomas on Sunday, the Saints offence will look very different.
